Let’s take a quick look at everyone’s favourite topic – procrastination. Is it a shield guarding us from hasty decisions, or is it a mischievous trickster luring us into last-minute adrenaline rushes?
If I had a £, Euro, or $ for every time a person came to me asking for help with procrastination, I’d be a rich woman!
This mischievous trickster of the mind can cause genuine suffering and distress as milestones and opportunities slip by, that we really wanted!
Or, even funkier, we leave something to the last minute, and in a blaze of energy, get it done on time. Yes, we used a ton of “spoons” (for a great post on Spoon Theory of personal energy read this blog by Nicola Whiting here!) and are exhausted, but we overcame the inertia and got it done!
