REFRESHING LEADERSHIP — THE ARCHIVE
Seasons 1 & 2 · 2022–2024
Refreshing Leadership was a podcast about what it actually takes to lead well — not the polished version, but the honest one. Over two seasons I spoke with academics, practitioners, and leaders from across sectors about pressure, performance, trauma, and what happens when the two meet in a workplace.
The conversations were frank, sometimes uncomfortable, and occasionally quite funny. That was the point.
The podcast has now passed to a new host who will take it in their own direction. The archive lives here — all episodes remain available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the other usual places.
If you’re new here and want to understand how I think, this is a reasonable place to start. The episode with Dr Natalie Lancer, Chair of the BPS Division of Coaching Psychology, is a good one. So is the conversation on what diverse teams and hidden trauma have to do with each other.
A new podcast is in the works. It will have a different name and a different focus, more closely aligned with the work I do now. When it’s ready, it will appear here.
You can access the episodes below but also on your favourite platform, such as Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, and many others.
